The service

Stillpoint is a daily gratitude and reflection app for iOS. It provides journaling prompts, AI-generated affirmations, a meditation timer, and an optional screen lock feature to support a daily mindfulness practice.

Your use of the app

You agree to use Stillpoint for its intended purpose: personal reflection and wellbeing. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers or services

Screen lock feature

Stillpoint offers an optional screen lock that temporarily shields other apps at your chosen daily time. By enabling this feature, you understand that:

• The screen lock is entirely opt-in and can be disabled at any time
• An emergency override is available in the app's Settings
• You can revoke Screen Time authorisation at any time via iOS Settings
• Emergency calls (Phone app) are never blocked by iOS
• Stillpoint is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by the screen lock feature that you have chosen to enable

Subscriptions

Stillpoint offers a free tier and an optional premium subscription.

• Free features include journaling, screen lock, and a meditation timer
• Premium features include AI-powered personalised affirmations, creature evolution, full session history, and emotion tracking
• Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store
• A free trial may be offered for new subscribers
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

AI-generated content

Premium users receive AI-generated affirmations based on their journal entries. These affirmations are for personal reflection and wellbeing purposes only. They do not constitute professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, please contact a qualified professional.

Your data

Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. In summary: your journal entries are stored locally on your device, you can export or delete them at any time, and we do not sell or share your personal data.

Intellectual property

The Stillpoint app, its design, illustrations, and content are the property of Stillpoint and are protected by copyright. Your journal entries and personal data remain yours.

Disclaimer

Stillpoint is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Stillpoint is a personal reflection tool, not a substitute for professional mental health support.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stillpoint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
